Ruins (The X-Files 4)

(1996) Kevin J. Anderson, Voyager, £12.99, hrdbk, 291pp. ISBN 0 00 224637 6

This is an appalling piece of crap! Bring back Charlie Grant (author of the first two X-Files novels); at least he had a feel for the characters -- Anderson has not got a clue. This awfully miswritten travesty starts at self-parody and plunges headlong into absurdity, finally ending up as trash. If you are an X-Files fan, then stay away from this stinker!
