(2001) Warren Ellis et al, Titan Books, £7.99, trdpbk, 96pp, ISBN 1-84023-381-8
Collection of Stormwatch vol.2, issues 11 & 12, book-ending the WildC.A.T.S./Aliens crossover which saw the end of the former and sowed the seeds for the creation of The Authority and The Monarchy. In other words, not a good place for readers new to these universes to start. WildStorm Comics are an imprint of DC and produced quite a bit of interesting work, including fan favourites Gen and Astro City, and DC have done more than a few crossovers with Dark Horse Comics' Aliens. Unfortunately I have to say that the Aliens are a bit wasted here and that, without previous volumes, the story is a bit thin. Also the price tag is a bit steep, especially when you consider that it is possible to obtain the original issues for the same price or less! One for Stormwatch/WildC.A.T.S. fans only.
